The East Dorset commercial property scheme is now 70 per cent let following a series of recent deals.
Bedrock Park is a speculative development by Northwood Urban Logistics and comprises 26 trading counters, industrial and warehouse units located on Vulcan Way, Ferndown Industrial Estate.
Unit 17, the largest building at 33,735 sq ft, has a gated garden area, 8.4m internal height, a fully equipped office on the ground floor and solar panels and is already let. Unit 26, a 2,886 sq ft warehouse, is also already let and has a fully equipped office on the ground floor.
Unit 14 is a 14,980 sq ft warehouse with fully equipped ground floor office space and is leased to Look Storage, which operates self-storage for residential and commercial customers.
“The self-storage industry is a growing sector but remains highly fragmented, and Look Storage offers a quality product that serves secondary and tertiary customer segments,” said Look Storage spokesman Richard Davis.
“Bedrock Park provides access to over 65,000 potential domestic customers and over 1,200 commercial customers within our target area. There is a shortage of quality buildings in BCP, so Bedrock Park was a natural choice for us.”
Existing tenant on the industrial estate, Special Products for Special Cakes, trading as Anniversary House, is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of cake decorating and baking accessories and has extended its site area in unit 19 by 8,356 sq ft.

Real estate consultancy Vail Williams is acting as co-marketing agent with DTRE and Realest on behalf of Northwood Urban Logistics.

Located on the A31, Bedrock Park has easy access to the West Country and the UK motorway network via the eastbound A31, the M27 (Portsmouth, Southampton) and the M3 (Winchester, London).
