Ryan Serhant's latest reality show for Netflix, “Owning Manhattan,” has been generating quite a bit of buzz since it began in late June. Despite only premiering on June 28, the show ranked in Netflix's top 10 most streamed shows in the U.S. for the week ending June 30. The show features Serhant, who is no stranger to reality TV having appeared on shows like “Million Dollar Listing New York” for a decade, as well as several agents and team leaders from SERHANT.
Since the show began, the company's social media reach has increased 88% across all platforms, listing inquiries have increased 285% and website traffic has increased 1,915%, according to data from SERHANT.
The show's first season will be filmed in 2022 and 2023, with much of the drama focusing on the real estate firms' efforts to sell the $250 million penthouse in Extell Development's Central Park Tower. As is typical of reality TV, the show highlights the profiles of the real estate firms featured but doesn't always provide a full picture of how their businesses operate.
HousingWire decided to dig into the data to see how many deals the agents and teams featured on the show are closing.
By comparison, in the storied world of New York City luxury real estate, SERHANT. still has work to do: According to The Real Deal's annual brokerage rankings, SERHANT. recorded $580.18 million in sales in just 207 transactions in 2023. That put SERHANT. behind mainstays Corcoran Group ($5.07 billion), Compass ($5.04 billion), Douglas Elliman ($4.23 billion), Brown Harris Stevens ($2.6 billion) and Sotheby's International Realty ($1.09 billion).
In TRD's annual rankings of New York City's top resale brokers, Serhant was the only one to crack the top 50. He placed seventh with $131.4 million in closed sales in 2023. Compass' Hudson Advisory team, led by Clayton Origo and Steven Ferrara, took the No. 1 spot. Twelve individuals and teams from Compass made it into the top 50, the most of any brokerage.
SERHANT. gained a high-profile name in January when Ravi Kantha, a founding member of the top sales team at boutique firm Leslie Garfield, moved to SERHANT., bringing with him three team members. The Lesser Kantha team achieved $153.8 million in transaction volume in 2023.

Niall Lundgren
With 16 years of experience, Lundgren is undoubtedly a SERHANT veteran, having founded his eponymous team, The Lundgren Team. He began his career as a residential real estate advisor with Cooper & Cooper Real Estate in 2009. Lundgren joined SERHANT in 2021 after leaving Compass, where he managed transactions for six years. According to StreetEasy data, Lundgren has closed 98 sales and 244 rentals in the New York City market since 2011. In addition to New York, Lundgren is also licensed in Connecticut and Florida.

In 2023, his team closed 38 transactions with total sales of $50.651 million, ranking 85th in the state among mid-sized teams in the 2024 RealTrends Verified rankings. Lundgren currently has approximately $34 million worth of properties for sale, including an $18.5 million penthouse at 30 East 85th Street.
Genesis Suelo
Suero leads the Lundgren team alongside Lundgren and Samir Vaughan. Suero, a former Miss New York winner and a correspondent for Telemundo since 2022, began her career in real estate with The Corcoran Group in 2018 and moved to SERHANT in March 2022.
Since 2019, she has closed 34 sales and two rentals in New York City, according to StreetEasy data.
Jordan March
Co-founder of Empire Collective with Alex Haight and Sean McPeak, March has been with SERHANT since the startup real estate brokerage's inception and joined the firm in November 2020. A real estate industry veteran, March began his career in 2007 as a senior associate at Mark David & Company, where he closed 60 rental transactions in his first year. Additionally, he served as senior managing broker at Bond New York, vice president at Charles Rutenberg Realty, associate broker at Town Residential, director of sales and leasing at LG Fairmont (now part of Compass), and an associate broker at Brown Harris Stevens, where he was employed prior to joining SERHANT.
In 2023, Empire Collective closed 50 transactions totaling $120,086,000 in sales, according to RealTrends data. This success has placed the company 118th nationally and 24th in the state in sales among small teams. In addition to March, Haight and McPeak, the team includes five other agents: Lauren Snisky, Rhiannon Lazerin, Cameron Begg, Jeffrey Garcia and Andrew Arigo.
Jessica Malkowski
A member of the Bogard Team, led and founded by Brandon Bogard and Mallory Brown Bogard, Markowski serves clients in the Manhattan, Greenpoint and Williamsburg markets. She has been with SERHANT. since April 2022 and has nine years of experience in real estate. Markowski, who has been the source of much of the drama on “Owning Manhattan,” worked at Compass prior to joining SERHANT.
Additionally, the Brooklyn native is also a model and was previously the communications director for Screenshot, a shopping app founded by Kim Kardashian. According to StreetEasy, Murkowski has recorded 19 sales and nine rentals in New York City.
The Bogard team, which joined SERHANT. in 2023, recorded 69 transactions and $94.339 million in sales last year, according to RealTrends data. The mid-size team ranked 242nd nationally and 40th in the state for sales volume in the RealTrends Verified rankings for 2024. Other agents on the team include Zachary Brink, Lucia Cousins, Lance Gillette, Katie Hertsch, John Morrison, Kevin Rice and Daniel Rosenstein.
Chloe Tucker Kane
Like Serhant herself, Tucker Cain is also a former actor, having previously performed on Broadway in Mamma Mia! She began her real estate career in November 2019 at Triplemint (which was acquired by The Agency in May 2022), before moving to luxury-focused Douglas Elliman in March 2020 and then to SERHANT. a year later in March 2021.
In “Owning Manhattan,” Tucker Kane negotiates a deal to rent a condominium in Chelsea's Jardim that was listed for sale for $20 million for $150,000. It is later revealed that Bad Bunny was the tenant. Public records show the property sold to banker Vis Raghavan for $15 million in May 2024. StreetEasy lists Chase Landau of SERHANT. as representing the seller in the deal, but SERHANT.'s website states that Tucker Kane, Serhant and Landau have an exclusive deal.
According to StreetEasy data, Tucker Caine has completed 49 sales and 59 rentals in New York City since 2020. Tucker Caine has no other active listings.
Jade Schenker
Unlike the other agents featured on the show, Schenker focuses primarily on the commercial and investment sectors. She has been with SERHANT since July 2021, was previously the sales director for Prospect Real Estate Development Group, and is now co-founder of Miami-based Schenker Denham Real Estate Investments. Her father, the late Mark Schenker, was a Manhattan landlord who inherited a rental portfolio from his father, Sol Schenker.
Jessica Taylor
Taylor is a familiar face at some of New York City’s most prominent real estate firms: she began her career in April 2015 as a member of Douglas Elliman’s Eklund Gomez team before moving to The Corcoran Group in 2016, where she remained until joining SERHANT in March 2021.
According to StreetEasy, Taylor has closed 64 sales and 21 rentals, generating more than $200 million in sales, during his nine-year career. Taylor grew up in the UK and worked for investment bank UBS in London before moving to New York in 2014.
She currently has one condo listed for sale at 160 Central Park South for $5 million, according to StreetEasy.
Jordan Hart
Hart, a longtime ally of Serhant, joined the firm in April 2021 after serving as Serhant's executive assistant at Eddie Shapiro's Nest Seekers International from March 2015 to June 2020. Prior to that, Hart spent nearly three years at The Corcoran Group. Since joining Serhant, Hart has recorded 39 sales and 12 rentals in New York, according to StreetEasy data. StreetEasy said Hart has 11 active properties valued at about $70 million.
Tricia Lee and Jeffrey St. Arromand
Lee, co-founder and principal broker of the Tricia Lee Team, joined SERHANT in 2021. Previously a broker at Compass, Lee began her real estate career with The Corcoran Group in October 2015. Prior to real estate, Lee founded The Polish Bar, a popular nail salon in Brooklyn. While known for selling luxury homes in Brooklyn, particularly brownstones, on the show she spoke of her ambition to enter the Manhattan market.
Lee leads the team alongside partner St. Arromand, who began his real estate career with SPIRE Group in 2014. Prior to joining real estate, St. Arromand was a producer at CBS Sports.
According to StreetEasy, Lee and St. Arromand have 124 sales contracts in place, and there are currently eight active listings with transaction values of roughly $8 million.
Savannah Gowerty
Gowarty is one of two agents featured on the show who has left SERHANT. A native of North Carolina, Gowarty joined SERHANT in 2022 and began serving clients in New York City. She began her career in real estate as a new home sales consultant with FMB New Homes, based in Wilmington, North Carolina. In December 2023, Gowarty announced her move to Compass in an Instagram post. According to StreetEasy, she has sold three properties worth approximately $4.5 million (all while at SERHANT). She does not have any active listings listed on StreetEasy.
Jonathan Nolmore
Like Gowerty, Nomore left SERHANT. in late 2023, moving his NextGen team to Highline Residential. Prior to joining SERHANT., Nomore was a broker at Compass from 2018 to 2021. Like the other agents featured on the show, the Danish has a background in modelling.
According to StreetEasy, Nomore has recorded 51 sales since starting his business in 2018. Currently, he has three active listings, with a total value of about $5.5 million.
