Lansing Melbourne Group and Denholtz Properties Grand Opening of Novi Rise in Concord, North Carolina

The completion of the 167-unit complex is the latest chapter in the partnership's ambitious vision for the city.
Executives from Lansing Melbourne Group (LMG), a boutique developer specializing in public-private partnerships, and Denholz Properties, a leading commercial real estate investment and development firm, joined Concord, North Carolina Mayor Bill Dash and local officials at the grand opening of Novi Rise, a 167-unit mixed-use development located at 30 South Market Street in Concord, North Carolina on July 10.
The seven-story Novi Rise is the largest property in the Novi Community, an interconnected portfolio of three lifestyle-branded mixed-use communities in downtown Concord, North Carolina. All residences at Novi Rise feature modern unit layouts, including gourmet kitchens with upgraded cabinetry, vinyl plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, refrigerators with icemakers, in-unit washer/dryers and oversized closets. Select units also feature patios and balconies.
Additionally, Novi Rise will house many of the Novi portfolio's shared amenities, including lounges, fitness centers, work pods, conference rooms, dog washing stations and secure Amazon package lockers. In addition to the robust amenity package and modern design, LMG and Denholtz Properties have announced leases for Salon Lofts and 4,757 square feet of ground-floor retail space at Novi Rise in 2024, providing new and exciting offerings for residents and the surrounding community.

In 2023, joint venture partners LMG and Denholtz Properties celebrated the completion of Novi Flats, a 48-unit building with 2,333 square feet of retail space less than a block from Novi Rise. Novi Lofts, the final community in the Novi family, will bring 89 units and 5,134 square feet of retail space to Concord in late 2024.
The three buildings in the Novi Portfolio are the first mid-rise structures of their kind in downtown Concord and represent the success of the town's multi-million dollar redevelopment, spearheaded by the Concord City Commission and the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation. A highlight of this transformation is the conversion of the town's former Philip Morris plant into The Grounds at Concord, a 2,000-acre site that will soon be home to a $2 billion Eli Lilly pharmaceutical plant and a $1 billion Red Bull manufacturing facility. The renovation and expansion of the Cabarrus County Courthouse, located just a few blocks from Novi Rise, will further enhance the area's appeal and make it one of the most desirable places to live in North Carolina.
