NEW YORK, March 18, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Greystone, a leading national commercial real estate finance firm, announced that its Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) syndication platform, Greystone Real Estate Capital, has added four senior members to its team: Mike Callahan has been appointed Senior Vice President, Director of Investment Management, Benjamin Jarvis has been appointed Senior Vice President, Developer Production, Michael Egidi has been appointed Vice President, Investor Production, and Spencer Gordon has been appointed Vice President, Director of Credit & Underwriting.

Mr. Callahan served as Head of Asset Management at Boston Capital for 28 years and was a member of the Investment, Disposition and Administration committees. At Boston Capital, he led a team of over 60 professionals monitoring and reporting on the performance of the company's $16 billion affordable housing portfolio, including both lower-tier asset management and upper-tier investor relations functions. Mr. Callahan designed and implemented the department's strategic objectives and developed policies and standards for monitoring portfolio performance. Additionally, he led the development of proprietary software designed to address the asset management needs of tax credit portfolios. Mr. Callahan holds a BA from Providence College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen School of Management.
Mr. Jarvis has over 19 years of affordable multifamily experience originating, structuring, negotiating and closing Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) transactions across the country. Prior to joining Greystone, he served as Director of Acquisitions for Redstone Equity Partners where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating and structuring LIHTC transactions throughout the Midwest region. He was also responsible for marketing Redstone's multifamily equity products, building and managing client relationships, and participating on the Coalition of State Housing Agencies and the QAP Advisory Board. Prior to that role, he served as Vice President of Acquisitions for Boston Capital where he was responsible for originating and closing over $1 billion in LIHTC equity investments across the country. He was responsible for marketing Boston Capital's multifamily products, building new developer relationships and generating investment opportunities for multi-fund and proprietary funds. Mr. Jarvis holds a Bachelor's degree from Salve Regina University and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University.

Mr. Egidi has over 15 years of affordable housing industry experience and is responsible for asset selection, fund placement, structuring, marketing and managing institutional investor relationships for Greystone Real Estate Capital. Over the course of his career, Mr. Egidi has been involved in developing, raising, underwriting and closing over $2 billion of investor capital for tax-advantaged investment funds. Prior to joining Greystone, Mr. Egidi served as Vice President of Investor Relations for WNC & Associates Inc.'s Tax Credit Syndication business, where he was responsible for raising capital, coordinating due diligence and closing investors into proprietary tax credit partnerships, and originating and syndicating proprietary fund partnerships with over $175 million in total capital. Prior to joining WNC, Mr. Egidi served in various roles for over 10 years in Capital One Financial Corporation's Community Finance Group, most recently as Director and team leader for multi-investor capital origination and underwriting, supporting Capital One's community development finance strategy, CRA lending and investment objectives. Mr. Egidi holds a BA from the University of Michigan, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and holds Series 22 and 63 securities licenses through FINRA.
Mr. Gordon brings over 12 years of affordable housing experience and provides credit and underwriting direction and guidance for all of Greystone Real Estate Capital's investments. Mr. Gordon, who has been involved in raising, underwriting and closing over $1 billion of investor capital for tax-advantaged investment funds, joins Greystone from PNC Bank, NA, where he served as Senior Underwriting Manager, VP, Tax Credit Solutions business. By managing a team of LIHTC equity and debt underwriters and providing investor and bank capital to proprietary and multi-investor tax credit partnerships, his team deployed over $700 million in LIHTC, historic and solar tax credit equity tax credit developments. Prior to joining PNC, Mr. Gordon was an Assistant Account Manager at Boston Financial, where he was responsible for analyzing, structuring and closing LIHTC multifamily affordable housing transactions. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business.
